I am holding the first ever contacts been between Germany – Guernsey Isl. (DL – GU), Germany – Hungary (DL – HA) and Germany – Liechtenstein (DL – HB0).
My equipment that time consists of a 2m-FT221-Transceiver with homebuild 432/144MHz-Transverter inside, antenna-mounted preamplifier and a RS1062 cavity amplifier running at some 750 W RF output. The antenna was mainly a 2 x 21 el stacked Yagi system.
Beside my EME-activity, highlight´s were contacts with UA3PC (KO84 – 1.825km) and a bunch of UA´s and UB5´s via Tropo.
