Bad Sachsa: Just in the heart
of Germany and the pearl of the southern Harz Mountains.
The City of Bad Sachsa with nearly 10.000 inhabitants is a quiet and restful community
in the southern part of the Harz Mountains. Within an altitude range between 350 m
and 700 m (1.000 - 2.000 ft), surrounded by spruce- and beech trees it´s an ideal
place to rest and relax during summer and wintertime.
For sports during the summer you can use several tennis courts, two 18 hole indoor
golf courses, minigolf courses an the adventure-bath "Salztal-Paradies".
For winter sports Bad Sachsa has a number of ski aereas, lifts, ski-runs at several
difficulties and a tobbogan-run. The new build ice rink is usable all over the year.
